John Michael Rogers

Mr. John Michael Rogers, age 68 of Blue Ridge, passed away January 17, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Rogers was born June 24, 1947 in Marietta, GA to the late John E. Rogers and the late Margie Baswell Rogers. He Served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and with the Navy during Desert Storm. He lived in Marietta, GA and worked for Bell South as assistant manager for many years until his retirement in 2002. After he retired he moved to Blue Ridge, GA.

Survivors include: wife, Beverly Rogers, daughter, Beth Zeagler, son, Kevin Rogers, daughter and son-in-law, Karen (Michael) Jones, sister, Nancy Diane Rogers, 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 22, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge. Interment will follow on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Marietta City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 22, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home.
