Johnnie Rackley Ross

Johnnie Rackley Ross, age 91, of Jefferson, GA, formerly of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026, at The Oaks at Braselton. Johnnie was born March 27, 1935, in Mineral Bluff, GA to Coatus and Ina Rackley. 

Johnnie was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ross; father, Coatus Rackley; mother, Ina Rackley; sisters, Myrtle Olvey, Marie Quintrell, Martha Jones, Peggy Potts, and Jimmie (Bob) Daves. 

She is survived by her sons, William "Greg" (Gwen) Ross and John "Tony" (Kara) Ross; brother, Don (JoAnn) Rackley; grandchildren, Jennifer Ross Turnquist, Amy Ross (Danny) Sawyer, Kevin Ross, Natalie Ross, and Nic Ross; great-grandchildren, Raleigh Turnquist, Lucas Turnquist, Noah Turnquist, Barrett Sawyer, and Beckham Sawyer; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Service, on Sunday October 25, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Butch Jones and Rev. Rick Jones officiating.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Kevin Ross, Nic Ross, Brad Daves, Lucas Turnquist, Noah Turnquist, and Danny Sawyer.

Interment will follow at Epworth Baptist Church Cemetery in Epworth, GA. 

The family will receive friends at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home Blue Ridge Chapel on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
