Mr. Joseph G. MacNeill, AKA Garfield J. MacNeill, age 79 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Tuesday Morning January 21st, 2020.
Mr. MacNeill was born on April 27th, 1940 in Bralorne, BC, Canada to the late Garfield J. and Mabel Morris MacNeill. Joseph worked as an Operating Engineer and for various construction companies for most of his life. He was a lifetime member of the Loyal Order of Moose, enjoyed working outside, but loved traveling most of all. Joseph was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Per Mr. MacNeill's request, there are no services planned at this time.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Karen F. MacNeill of the home in Hiawassee, GA; daughter, Kimberly (Corey) Boswell of Jefferson, GA; grandchildren, Brooke, Bre, and Behr Boswell; and a brother, Neil MacNeill of Seattle, Washington.
