Juanita Canup Morgan

Juanita Canup Morgan age 65, of Marble, NC went home to be with her heavenly Father on September 23, 2026. Juanita was known for her kindness and the love she always showed to others. Juanita loved being at church every time the doors were open, spending time with her family, and traveling with her husband Charlie. Juanita was a beloved figure and voice seen and heard at the front desk at Erlanger Western Carolina. Juanita enjoyed her work and served others with gladness. Family and friends will enjoy fond memories of worshipping beside Juanita, her witty sense of humor, and delicious home cooking. Juanita prioritized the spiritual health of her family and sent daily bible verses to her children and grandchildren. The last verse that she sent was: Psalms 18:1-2 "I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower."

Juanita is survived by her husband, Charles Morgan; her sons Joshua (wife Kasey) and Derek (wife Dixie); her grandchildren, Austin (wife Jessi), Chandler, Colton, McClain, Tripp, Olivia, Jemma, Gracie, Toney, and Parker (Joshua); and Abigail (Derek) along with one great-grandchild, Ash (Austin). Juanita is also survived by her siblings Kay Tanner, Judy Dendy, Janet Allen, Jeanette Fowler, Jamie Canup and Jerry Canup. Juanita is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Hazel Canup, sister Marie McCray, brother Monroe Canup, and grandchildren Aisley and Payson Morgan.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 27th, 2026 from 2 to 4pm, the service will immediately follow at Cochran McDaniel Funeral Home in Murphy, NC. There will be a graveside service at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery on Carter Cove Rd in Hayesville, NC.
