Judy Lockaby

Mrs. Judy Kathleen Oliver Lockaby, 75, of Murphy, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at her home in Murphy, NC surrounded by her loving family. Judy was born December 10, 1948, in Murphy, NC to Porter and Lucille Oliver.

Judy was preceded in death by spouse, Max Lockaby; father, Porter Oliver; mother, Lucille Oliver; sister, Roma Nix; brother, James Oliver; sister, Nellie Sue Graham; sister, Janice Barnhart; granchild, Hope Hohmann; granchild, April Radford.

She is survived by her Michael "Trudy" Lockaby (Son), Eddie Lockaby (Son), Mark "Rachael" Lockaby (Son), Matt Lockaby (Son), Melinda (Hugh) Rogers (Daughter), Gayle Oliver (Sister-in-law), Lewis "Gail" Oliver (Brother), Jerry Oliver (Brother), Connie "Steve" Creason (Sister), 20 (Grandchildren), 12 (Great-Grandchildren), 2 (Great-Great Grandchildren). She was a Mamaw to Shawna Steffins, Tripp Creason, Luke Creason, Mari Grace Moyer, Sara Beth Moyer. Judy was a special Aunt to Stephanie Moyer and Becky McClure.

The family will receive friends at Old Fashion Baptist Church in Murphy, NC on Friday, March 29, 2024 at 10:00am-12:00pm.

Funeral services will be on Friday, March 29,2024 at the Old Fashion Baptist Church of Murphy, NC, at 12:00pm with Rev. Hoyt Brown and Rev. Nathan Rose officiating.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Tristan Lockaby, Andrew Lockaby, Levi Lockaby, Dustin Lockaby, Tyson Pianco, Jamie Oliver.

Honorary include Jerry Oliver, Louie Oliver, Taylor Oliver, Steve Creason, Stephen Creason, Robert McClure, Shane Roberson, and Anthony Oliver.

Music will be provided by Janice Brown, Ray Cook, Danny Truett, Bruce Little, Dinah Cook, and Kelsey Rose.

Interment will follow at Old Fashion Baptist Cemetery in Murphy, NC.
