Judy Morgan

Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory of Blairsville announces funeral services for Judy Morgan, age 79, of Lago Vista, TX who died Friday, December 15, 2023 at home after an extended illness. Judy was born on May 10, 1944, to the late Lela Woody Solesbee.

Mrs. Morgan was a native of Topton, NC and member of Antioch Baptist Church in Blairsville. She was a graduate of Lakeshore High School in St. Clair Shores, MI, class of 1963.  After graduation and returning to Murphy, she joined the team at Clifton Precision as an assembler where she met her husband.

Judy was an excellent homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, George Morgan.  She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Tommy) Clark, and Vickie Morgan, son, Danny (Andrea) Morgan, and grandchildren, Thomas, Jamie, and David Morgan.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Sunday, Dec 31, 2023, at 3:00 p.m., to be held at Antioch Baptist Church in Blairsville.  Eulogies will be given by her nephews, Ray and Steve Ahonen, and son, Danny Morgan.  Burial will be in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at The Antioch Family Life Center immediately following the service. Pallbearers: Ray Ahonen, Steve Ahonen, Randy Johnston, Joey Johnston, Thomas Morgan, and Danny Morgan.
