Karen Ann Rauch

Karen Yager Rauch went to be with Jesus on the 26th of August, 2026, at the age of 84.

Karen earned a degree in Business Management from Kent State University. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who deeply loved her family and her Lord.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Rauch; her son, Richard Rauch; her daughter, Suzanne Rauch Daley- (CSM Vern Daley, Jr.) and her cherished grandchildren, Tamika- (Carlos), Malcom- (Alexandria), Kumiko, Maika- (Will), AnnaBeth- (Charlie), and Buddy. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Amaya, Julius, Camilla, Selena, Denzel, Isabella, and Elaina.

Karen lived in several places throughout her life, but following retirement she made her home in Blairsville, and Hiawassee, Georgia. She was a longtime member of Christ the King Anglican Church in Hiawassee, where she faithfully served in numerous ministries. Karen had a heart for others and was especially devoted to nursing home ministry - (bringing church services and Holy Communion to residents) . She also contributed through church photography, led Operation Christmas Child efforts, supported/volunteered at Christ the King Antique & Furniture Store mission, Lay Eucharist Ministry and participated in Bible studies and many other activities.

Music was a lifelong joy for Karen. She began playing the flute in early childhood and continued sharing her musical gifts in school orchestras , musicals, and worship groups throughout her life.

Above all, Karen loved her family deeply and held a strong faith in Christ. She now rests in Jesus' presence and looks forward to the joyful reunion with loved ones in Heaven.
