Kenneth Terrell Harper, 68, passed away at his home in Blue Ridge, Ga., Sunday July 17, 2022.  Ken was born May 24, 1954, in Brunswick, Ga to the late I. W. Harper and the late Eloise Ray Harper.  He was preceded in death by his maternal Grandmother Nan Ray.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Bobbie (Barbara) Harper; daughter & son-in-law Ann & Chris Yard, daughter & son-in-law Leah & Mike Wilcox; sister & brother-in-law Kathy & Larry Roberson, sister & brother-in-law Karen & Robert Hall; and grandsons, Jacob Cottle,  Harper Wilcox and Carson Wilcox.  He graduated from Brunswick High and attended Brunswick College.

Ken always lived life to the fullest.  Just a few of the many things he experienced and enjoyed throughout his life included hunting in the South Georgia swamps and Sapelo Island, off-shore fishing and scuba diving. He was an avid collector of handmade fine knives.  He spent his last few years creating a beautiful sanctuary for wild turkey, deer, birds and lots of other wildlife with his best friend wife Bobbie (Barbara) Harper at his mountain home in Blue Ridge, Ga.

In Lieu of flowers and in remembrance of Ken, the family would like to ask you to spend time outdoors with your family, teach your children to hunt and fish, and enjoy the beauty of wildlife.

A Celebration of life for Ken will be held on Sapelo Island at a later date.  If you would like to attend, please call the family for date and instruction to get to the Island.
