Larry Parker Green

Mr. Larry Parker Green, age 24, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away on August 29, 2026. After serving as an Operations Specialist in the US Navy, Parker was attending Kennesaw State University as a computer engineering major. His passion for computers and electronics began at age 4, when he received a Nintendo Gameboy.

Parker was an avid gamer, and the member of a large online gaming community through Discord. He enjoyed anime such as Naruto and Bleach, and also collected figurines. He had a great appreciation of Japanese culture and food. In his free time, Parker could often be found scrolling Instagram Reels and watching funny cat videos. He shared a love of horror movies with his mother. Parker was a huge fan of Godzilla, favoring the original 1950s movies. His playlists featured a variety of alternative rock, from Queen, to Deftones, to Rage Against the Machine.

Parker is survived by his mother, Laura Clarke; father, Levi (Beth) Green; grandparents, Larry and Diane Fort, Tony and Iris Green, and Carol Love Cobb; siblings, Grace Green, Hope Clarke, and Chandler Green; Uncle, Josh Fort; and aunt, Lisa Fielder.

Memorial Services for Parker Green will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home & Crematory Blairsville Chapel with Lance Johnson officiating.
