Leslie Jo Elwood

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leslie Jo Elwood on Tuesday, June 27th, 2023, at Tennova Health Care in Cleveland, TN. Leslie was born June 8, 1953, in Fairbanks, Alaska to the late LJ and Barbara Basey. She was the youngest of three siblings and is survived by her sister, Linda (Ray) Kuharski, of Belleview, FL; brother, Leland Basey, of Leesburg, Fl; sister-in-law, Karen Lovell; nieces, Jennifer Barnett and Jennifer Rabon; great niece, Bailey Harrell; and endeared friends, Warren Diana and Ben Flanagan.

She was a member of Temple Baptist Church of Morganton, GA. Leslie was a devoted Christian who proudly served The Lord for over 40 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Earl F. Elwood III.
