Lexie B. Hagman

January 27, 1949 — May 10, 2021

Lexie Butler Hagman, age 72, passed away peacefully May 10th, 2021 at home in Hiawassee, Ga after a long battle with cancer.

She was the daughter of Ralph E. Butler and Lois (Dennison) Butler, Lexie was a 1967 graduate of St. Pete High School in St. Petersburg, FL and later attended art school in Atlanta, GA. Her positive, dynamic personality and sense of humor lit up a crowd whenever she was present and was the reason for her great success first as an interior decorator then as a real estate agent in the Tampa Bay area. Lexie made friends wherever she went and will be remembered for her generosity, empathy for others and the love of horses and her beloved standard poodle Winslow. She will be missed by all.

She was predeceased by her brother, Randy Todd Butler, her son, Scott Todd Hagman, and granddaughter, Shelby Hagman. She is survived by a multitude of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends too many to count.

She will be buried at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Petersburg, FL at a date yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Horse Protection Association of Florida, HPAF.org, a non-profit horse rescue, phone number 352-359-1996.
