Linda Sowers Armstrong, aged 71, of Hiawassee, Georgia, passed away at home on September 26th, 2023. She was born on March 4th, 1952 to the late Charles W. and Dorothy Bernzott Sowers. At the age of 15, she met her beloved husband of 52 years at a game of bingo. It was love at first sight.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Louis Sowers and Vernon Sowers; and brother-in-law Huston Albert Leavitt.

Linda is survived by her husband, Paul Duane Armstrong; children, Christopher Powell Armstrong and Christine Rebecca Armstrong; sisters Patricia Sowers Leavitt, Vera (Richard) Sowers Yarbrough, Donna (Daniel) Sowers Barrett, and Carol (Dan) Sowers McColligan; brothers Robert (Deborah) Sowers and Richard Sowers; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
