Mrs. Louise Marie Schmus, age 99 of Morganton, passed away March 17, 2015 at Gilmer County Nursing Home. Mrs. Schmus was born August 11, 1915 in New York, NY to the late Ceasar Sartori and the late Desolina Passerine. A member of the Catholic faith and she was preceded in death by husband, Jack Schmus, father, Ceasar Sartori and mother, Desolina Sartori.
Survivors include: son, Richard (Barbara) Schmus, son, Donald (Carol) Schmus, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time.
