Lowell Williamson

Lowell Winford Williamson, 79, of Murphy, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024, at his home in Murphy, NC. Lowell was born December 1, 1944, in Bryson City, NC to Eugene Williamson and Nola Baines.

Lowell proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a purple heart recipient. Lowell also worked as a Manger for Telecommunications for many years. He dearly loved his family and loved to go fishing.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nola Baines; his father Eugene Williamson; brother, Gene Willamson; and sister, Sylvia Whitfield.

He is survived by his spouse Nancy, his daughters April Rodman, and Delisa Morrow, his son Barron Williamson; stepdaughters, Lavon Divine, and Beverly Cross; and his stepson Shane Cross. Lowell is also survived by his grandchildren Sharon Morrow, Ashley Ingles, Karissa Baltz, Brianna Williamson, Caiden Williamson, Landon Morrow, Clint Elzey, AJ Duncan, Callie Cross, Jordan Davis, Tyler Divine, Michelle Divine, and Brandon Divine.
