Mr. Luke Ronald Ray, age 66 of Marble, passed away Friday, June 15, 2007 at Murphy Medical Center.
Mr. Ray was born Tuesday, November 12, 1940 in Cherokee County to the late Romulus Ray and Leona Ladd Ray. He was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth Lee Ray. Survivors include mother, Leona Ray of Marble, daughter & son-in-law, Darlene & Jackie Ledford of Andrews, daughter & son-in-law Linda & Roger Brown of Charlotte, son & daughter-in-law, Jackie & Vickie Ray of Marble, Sister, Elma Piercy of Marble, sister, Frances Tolley of Murphy, sister, Ann Addis of Alpharetta, Ga., five grandchildern, two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 18, 2007 at 1:00 PM from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Derick Palmer officiating Interment followed the in Vengeance Creek Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Johnny Luther, Lindford Palmer, George Farmer, Corey Luther, Mark Ray and Arron Barnett .
