Margaret Ealy Johns

Margaret Ealy Johns, age 95, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026, in Ellijay, GA. Margaret was born June 19, 1930, in Martins Ferry, OH to Byron and Hazel Ealy.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Johns; father, Byron Ealy; mother, Hazel Kahlbaugh; sister, Gwendolyn Roupe; brother, Gerald Ealy; sister, Nancy Tharp; sister, Bessie Martin; brother, Thomas Ealy; sister, Eldora Tush and brother Duane Ealy.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Johns; and Susan Piros; son-in-law Dr. George Piros; Dr. Judith Piros; and numerous nieces & nephews.

Margaret loved to read and do crossword puzzles. She was of the Methodist faith and a member of the Blue Ridge Methodist Church.

Her Funeral Service, will be on Friday January 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home & Crematory Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Sam Hamby officiating.

A private family interment will follow at Melrose Memorial Gardens in Villa Rica, GA.

The family will receive friends at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home & Crematory Blue Ridge Chapel on Friday, January 23, 2026 from 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM.
