Margaret "Maggie" Mary Miklos, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on August 7, 2026. A dedicated professional, she served as a Human Resources Director and Vice President in the healthcare sector with HCA, where she was valued for her leadership and commitment to fostering a positive workplace environment. Maggie earned her Master's Degree, reflecting her dedication to education and personal growth.
Maggie was a passionate and creative person whose interests touched many areas of life. She enjoyed sewing and crafts, treasured time spent in the mountains, and had a deep appreciation for the arts. She was also an avid sports fan who loved cheering on her favorite teams. Maggie especially enjoyed bringing family and friends together, creating memorable gatherings filled with warmth, creativity, and thoughtful touches. Her elaborate parties and celebrations were a reflection of her generous spirit and her joy in making those around her feel special.
She was married to the love of her life, Stephen Miklos, since 1982. Together they shared more than four decades of love, laughter, family, and cherished memories.
She leaves behind her husband, Stephen Miklos, her sons, Michael Miklos and Ryan Miklos; her granddaughter, Lilian Miklos; and her daughter-in-law, Jennyris Miklos. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Josephine Higgins. She is also mourned by her siblings Jo Higgins, George Higgins Jr., Bridget Higgins, Mary Finn, and Patricia Jenkins, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Her greatest joy was her family, and her love will continue to live on through her children, granddaughter, siblings, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026 at 11:00 am at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 9111 90th Ave N., Largo, Fl 33777.
