Marilyn Fay Parris, age 70, of Ducktown, TN passed away October 19, 2009 at Copper Basin Medical Center in Copperhill,TN.
Mrs.Parris was born on February 16, 1939 in Polk County, TN, to the late William and Lena Hall Adams. She was a member of the Church of Christ in McCaysville, GA. Fay was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wilden "Gene" Parris, and brother, Max Adams.
She is survived by: daughter & son-in-law, Leeta & Denny Dills of Blairsville, GA; sisters & brothers-in-law Vera Evelyn & Edward Jefferies of Clinton, TN, and Janice & James Kaylor of McCaysville, GA; brothers &sisters-in-law, William & Sally Adams of Chattanooga, TN, and Jonnie & Kate Adams of Maryville, TN.
Funeral services were held Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 11:00 AM from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Bill Johnston officiataing. Burial follow in the Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers were: Gary Dills, Brian Dills, Josh Dills, Larry Adams, Cody Clemmer and Wayne Adams.
