Mary Brown

Mary Jeanetta Brown, age 88, of Murphy, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in Murphy, North Carolina. She was born in Palm Beach, Florida, on February 6, 1937, to the late Jack and Lilis Purdy Hoagland.

Mary was a longtime antique dealer at III C's Antiques in Murphy, North Carolina. She had been a resident of Murphy for over 30 years. Mrs. Brown was always williing to lend a helpiing hand to anyone in need. She was known throughout the community as Miss Mary at III C's. by many.

She is survived by her loving spouse Philip H. Brown; longtime friend and caregivers, Wayne and Ann Polacek. Many additional longtime friends also survive.
