Mrs. Mary Bell Phillips, age 80, of McCaysville, GA passed away January 20, 2010 at her home.
Mrs. Phillips was born on April 22, 1929 in Isabella , TN, to Carl and Bertha King Bell . She was a member of McCaysville United Methodist Church. Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband, William "Ray" Phillips first husband, James E. Franklin, parents; and brother, Donald Bell
Survivors include: daughter & son-in-law, Brenda & Bill Simmons of Memphis, TN; brother, Paul Bell of Clinton, TN; sister, Mildred Wilcox of MOrganton, GA; grandson, John Thomas, April Austin, Jeremy Simmons, and Cristy Urban; and o great grandchildren, Kendyl Thomas, Jake, Will, Carson, Nathan, Luke, Zachary, and Chloe.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 11:00 AM from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend T. Reamsmyder officiating. Burial will follow in the Wolf Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (Masadonia), Cherokee County, NC.
The family will recive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Friday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
