Mary Seabolt

Mary N. Seabolt, age 107 and lifelong resident of Blairsville, Ga, passed away on May 30, 2026. She was born on June 8, 1918, in Blairsville, GA, to Lonnie and Tempie Nelson.

Mary was a beloved member of Old Liberty Baptist Church. She spent her days enjoying what she loved: gardening, quilting, cooking, and spending time with her loved ones. Not only will the delicious meals she cooked be remembered, but the memories made with her family and friends will hold a special place in everyone's hearts.

She is survived by her two children, Ray Seabolt and John (Becky) Seabolt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as her beloved friends.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Zed Seabolt; her parents, Tempie and Lonnie "Seth" Nelson; sisters, Gladys, Pearl, Idel, and Lily; and brother Theron; and her son, Jerrell Seabolt.

A funeral service will be held on June 2, 2026, at 2:00 pm, at Cochran McDaniel Funeral Home of Blairsville, GA, with Pastor Chad Underwood officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Cochran McDaniel Funeral Home of Blairsville, GA.

Interment will follow at Old Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Blairsville, GA.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Harold Collins, Michael Adams, Seth Crawford, Scott Duckworth, Jeremy Adams, and Chandler Dyer.
