Matthew Kenneth West, age 31 of Suwanee, GA passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 after a sudden illness.
Matthew graduated from Union County High School in 2004 . He was gifted with athletic talent in a variety of sports. However, playing sports was more about the friendships made than the glory won. For four years, Matthew taught and invested in his students. This period of time was certainly a highlight moment in his life. Matthew had a heart for those kids and they adored him. He had the unique ability to genuinely connect with people. Known for his comical side and quick wit, time spent with Matthew would always include laughter. He enjoyed watching FSU football and spending time with his family and friends. His kind heart, bravery, compassion, and empathy has had an impact on many people and will always be remembered by those who knew him.
