Melissa Roberts

Melissa Roberts, a beloved wife, mother, and dedicated registered nurse, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on February 12, 1963, Melissa touched the lives of many with her unwavering compassion and kindness. She was not only cherished by her family but also deeply respected and loved by her coworkers and patients during her nursing career.

Melissa was known for her nurturing spirit, always prioritizing the care of her patients and family above all else. The excellent care she proveided earned her multiple Daisy Awards. Her love extended beyond her professional life; she enjoyed making time for her passions such as knitting, sewing, and shopping, which brought her joy and relaxation. Most importantly, she was a devoted wife to her husband, Doug Roberts, and a loving mother to her daughters, Shae Roberts and Serena Mansell, and her son, Christopher Roberts. Her three grandchildren were a constant source of pride and joy in her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Alongside her family, Melissa had a special love for her dogs, who were considered integral members of her household. She had a warm sense of humor and was always making people laugh.

Melissa's radiant spirit, kind heart, and vibrant personality will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind her loving husband, Doug; daughters Shae and Serena; son Christopher; three grandchildren; and countless friends and colleagues who cherished her.

Melissa was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Betty McClure Gragg.

She will forever remain in our hearts.
