Michael Harris

Michael Wayne Harris, 79, of Mineral Bluff, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. Michael was born September 28, 1944, in Vero Beach, Fl. to Charles and Pansy "Pat" Harris.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Pat Harris; and his brothers; Scott and Tony Harris.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Harris, children; Dane Harris and Kelly (David) Walker, and grandchild; Chase (Alex) Walker.

Mr. Harris was a Pilot in the United States Air Force, in the Vietnam era, receiving the Distinguished Flying Cross and retiring from the Air Force with the rank of Captain. After his time in the military, he received his masters in Finance from the University of South Florida. He retired as a insurance agent from Sid Banack insurance agency. During retirement, he enjoyed woodworking and created many cherished pieces for his family.
