Nancy Christine Hirsch

Nancy Christine Connor Hirsch, August 29, 1947. Born in Atlanta, Georgia and resided in Decatur Georgia the early years of her life. She was a graduate of North Druid Hills High School. Nancy’s entire career was with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) as a filing clerk to retire as Director of Administrative Services before moving to Morganton, Georgia to live out her retirement years in her beautiful mountain cabin. She loved to travel with friends and family on her favorite vacations, especially on a cruise. In her retirement she enjoyed painting landscapes, flowers and her dogs Magnum and Patches that she loved so much.

One thing everyone knew about Nancy was her pride and joy were her two sons; William “Ken” Bridger (wife Meredith) of Dacula, Georgia and Kerry L. Bridger (wife Lori )of Lawrenceville, Georgia. She was so proud of her Grandchildren; Emma Grace Mrozek (husband Andy). Jonah Bridger, Ethan Bridger, Owen Bridger and William Bridger.

She was preceded in death by her parents Silvie Lee Connor and Nellie Christine Connor, her sister; Patricia Ann Odom and her husband Martin “Marty” Hirsch.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Nancy’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association at https://donorservices.Alzheimer's Association or a donation gift mailed to Angels Garden Senior Community Assisted Living and Memory Care; 3093 Hog Mountain Road, Dacula, GA 30019, where she received amazing loving care in her last 2 years of life; which the family is so grateful. This fund will be to help other dementia patients with supplies and care in this private community.
