Nancy Jenkins

Nancy Althea Jenkins, a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many passed away peacefully at her residence in Andrews, NC on February 22, 2023. A native of Graham County, Nancy was born to the late Harold and Mildred Brown on December 30, 1961. She lived most of her adult life in Cherokee County, NC where she and her husband fostered many children. She is survived by her loving husband Roger Jenkins, with whom she would have been married 42 years this coming May. In addition to the many foster children, they raised two children of their own, Marvin and Vanessa Jenkins. In addition to her husband and children she had 4 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter whom she loved fiercely. She is also survived by 3 sisters, 3 brothers, sister in laws, and numerous nieces and nephews as well.

Nancy was a hard worker who dedicated her life to serving the Lord and all those she loved. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by those lives that she touched.
