Pamela Kay Young

Pamela Kay Young, age 70, of Blue Ridge, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Pamela was born on February 7, 1956, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Douglas and Marilyn Miller.

Pamela was preceded in death by her father, Douglas Miller; her mother, Marilyn Zickafoose; and her stepfather, Clearance “Whitey” Zickafoose.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 39 years, Dennis Young; daughter, Ashlee (Steven) Brown; son, Spencer (Kristin) Young; grandchildren, Hadlee Patterson, LouAnna Brown, and Lennon Brown; stepmother, Phyllis Miller; brothers, Thomas (Charlene) Miller and Tim (Ann) Miller; brother-in-law, Daryl (Faye) Young; and her two adorable fur babies, Willow and Reese.

Pamela found joy in the simple things in life. She loved arts and crafts, caring for her beautiful flowers, and spending time gardening around her home. Above all else, she treasured her family and especially cherished her granddaughters, Hadlee, Lou and Lennon, who were her world. The love she shared with them created memories that will be cherished forever.

Although Pamela will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, her family finds peace and comfort in knowing she is with Jesus. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 10th, 2026, from 5:00-6:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 6:00PM at the Blue Ridge Chapel.
