Patricia Tipton

Patricia Ann Tipton, age 76, of Morganton, Georgia, passed away on July 3, 2025. Born on May 10, 1949, in Blue Ridge, Georgia.  Patricia spent her life dedicated to her family. She was a proud homemaker whose heart was truly centered on her loved ones, including her cherished son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Danielle Tipton, and especially her grandchildren. 

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, A.B. Norman and Ada Nelle Bradburn Johnson, husband, J.L. Tipton, and sister, Wanda Tipton.

Patricia is survived by her son, Shane (Danielle) Tipton, grandchildren, Owen, Oliver, and Sage Tipton, siblings: brothers Danny Johnson, Johnny Johnson, Troy (Vanessa) Johnson, and Randy (Suzanne) Johnson, as well as her sister, Judy (David) Stanley. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Known for her bright spirit, Patricia had a deep appreciation for the beauty around her. She found solace in her garden, nurturing her flowers and delighting in the presence of hummingbirds. 

An avid cook, she loved to prepare meals and share them with family and friends, reflecting her joy in socializing and cherishing relationships. Patricia also enjoyed the time spent fishing and enjoying the peace in nature. She was a member of Bethany Church.

A funeral service to honor Patricia's life will take place on July 7, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home, Blue Ridge Chapel, with the Rev. Eric Davenport officiating. Music will be by Rhonda Aaron and Lorinda Nicholson. Interment will follow in the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery in Blue Ridge, Georgia.

Visitation will be held at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home, Blue Ridge Chapel, on the same day from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. 

Patricia Ann Tipton will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to family will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
