Pauline Zemily Bryant Taylor passed away on August 23, 2025, in the Union County Nursing Home. The nursing home had been Pauline’s home since July 2024. She was 98 years old. Pauline was born on August 19, 1927, the youngest of seven children born to Ed Grady Bryant and Beulah Lee Queen Bryant.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was predeceased by her husband Ronald Taylor, and her son and daughter-in-law Ronald Edward Taylor and Gail Elizabeth Savage Taylor. She was also predeceased by her brothers and sisters, J. A. Bryant, Mary Lucille Warren, Catherine Lorene Mason, Howard Woodrow Bryant, Bonnie Mae Thomas Boiter and Ford Bryant.
Pauline lived a full life raising her beloved son Ronny, and loving her husband Ron for 76 years. She especially enjoyed working in her garden and flowers, and serving with her church family at the First United Methodist Church of Union County.
Pauline is survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews. and great-great nieces and nephews. They will always remember her delicious fried apple pies, vegetable soup, and her generous heart.
Pauline and Ronald Taylor will be laid to rest together at Union Memory Gardens at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 6th. Officiating the graveside service will be Pastor Jimmy Hood, Pastor Mack Riley, and Pastor Eddie Herring. A lunch will follow at the First United Methodist Church of Union County.
We are so thankful for the wonderful loving staff at Union County Nursing Home who cared for Aunt Pauline especially in her final days and hours. Also, we are thankful for Dr. Thomas Karisny, Dawn Elliott, and the entire staff for always being there to help and answer our questions.
We ask that Memorials for Pauline and Ronald be made to the First United Methodist Church of Union County.
