Perry Royce Kelley, 82, of Blairsville, GA passed away on March 28, 2024, at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. He was born on November 18, 1941, in De Funiak Springs, FL, to the late Charles Hobson and Inez Kelley.
He dedicated many years of his life to Citrus production, leaving a lasting impact on the industry. Perry was known for his unwavering faith as a devout Catholic, regularly attending St. Williams in Murphy, NC.
Perry had a wide range of interests and hobbies that brought him joy throughout his life. He found that joy in gardening, expressing his creativity through writing poetry in his early years, and immersing himself in the written word as a dedicated reader. An avid student of genealogy and ancestry, Perry had a deep appreciation for history and the stories that shaped his family's past.
He is survived by his loving wife Alma Donna Kelley; children Christopher (Yuliana) Kelley, and Terri (Timothy) Tucker; siblings Lawrence Kelley, Douglas (Fran) Kelley, Charles H. (Debbie) Kelley, and Linda Ellis; and grandchildren Brandon L. Tucker, Anastasiya Kelley, Aleksandr Kelley, and Nicole M. Kelley.
He is preceded in death by his parents Charles Hobson and Inez Kelley; brother Charles M. Kelley; and son Michael Joseph Kelley.
The family will receive friends at Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville, GA on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 20th, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville, GA with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating.
Perry will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He is survived by his loving family and friends, who will always hold dear the memories they shared with him. May he rest in peace, his legacy living on in the hearts of those who were touched by his kindness and warmth.
