Phillip Waylan Bruce

Phillip Waylan Bruce, age 58, of Ladson, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026. Phillip was born June 2, 1968, in Copperhill, TN to Johnnie Wayne Bruce and Dorothy Jean Bruce.

Phillip was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Wayne Bruce.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Jean Bruce; and cousin, Mike Bruce; and numerous other cousins and relatives.

Funeral Service, on Sunday September 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Tim Garrett officiating.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Russell Burnett, Johnny Burnett, Casey Bruce, D. J. Bruce, Leslie Owens, and Bobby Norris.

Interment will follow at New Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Blairsville, GA.

The family will receive friends at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home in Blue Ridge on Sunday, September 06, 2026, from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM.
