R. Scott Shattles, age 42 of Blairsville, GA, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Union General Hospital. Scott was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include: parents, Don and Janice Shattles of Blairsville, GA; maternal grandparents, Lillian and Russell Jackson of Blairsville, GA; paternal grandmother, Louise Shattles of Blairsville, GA; Sister, Layne and John Ward of Blairsville, GA; nephews, Andrew and Jeffrey Ward; his dog, Wilson.
Memorial services will be announced later.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to Humane Society's Mountain Shelter,P.O. Box 1252, Blairsville, GA 30514.
The Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
