Randall "Randy" Gary Whitener

Randall "Randy" Gary Whitener, age 63, of Cherry Log, GA, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025, in Riverdale, GA. Randall was born November 24, 1961, in Copperhill, TN to James and Betty Whitener. Randall was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as searching for arrowheads, and just being in nature. He loved his children and loved classic cars including his Ford Mustang he had owned.

Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Whitener.

He is survived by his father, James F. Whitener; sons, Brandon (Graison) Whitener and Eric (Alexandra) Whitener; daughters, Kristan (Adam) Weaver and Bailei (Vinson) Johns; brothers, James Lee (Martha) Whitener and Kelly Whitener; and grandchildren, James Benton Whitener, Lillian Whitener, Claire Whitener, and Tripp Whitener. 

The family will receive friends at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home & Crematory Blue Ridge Chapel on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
