Richard Charles Andes

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Richard Charles Andes, who departed this life on October 25, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on May 1, 1950, in Niagara Falls, NY, Richard was a beloved husband, brother, and uncle who enriched the lives of those around him.

Richard, a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, served honorably from September 16, 1972, until his discharge on September 15, 1976, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. Following his military service, he built a successful career as a machinist in the food factory industry.

Richard was preceded in death by his father Charles Andes and his mother Mae Andes.

Richard is survived by his cherished spouse, Kathleen Andes, his devoted sister, Rita (John) Koenig, and his loving nephew and niece, Michael (Chriscie) Macecevic and Darla (David) Quintern.

A graveside service to honor Richard's life and service will be held on November 5, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery, located at 1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114. His family invites friends, colleagues, and community members to join them in celebrating Richard's legacy of love, service, and friendship.
