Richard Joseph Jabaley

Richard Jabaley, age 87, of Epworth, GA, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023. Richard was born April 15, 1936, in Copperhill, TN to Richard and Minnie Jabaley. 
Richard was preceded in death by his father, Richard Jabaley; mother, Minnie Jabaley; brothers, Samuel Jabaley and Ronald Jabaley; and daughter, Deborah Jabaley. 
He is survived by his wife, Mary "Kathy" Jabaley; daughter, Cynthia J. (Gary) Caddell; son, Richard G. Jabaley; daughters, Patricia J. (Jeff) Partin & Suzanne Jabaley; brother, Anthony (Diane) Jabaley; sister, Judy (Bud) Ward; brother, Joseph Jabaley; sister, Lynnda Jabaley; sister-in-law, Kay Jabaley; grandchildren, Mark (Madeline) Caddell, Katherine (Jacob) Smith, Lucy Jabaley, Annemarie Jabaley, Jeffrey (Kelly) Partin, Gabriel Partin, Madeline Partin, and Joseph Partin; and great-grandchild, Afton Partin.
He was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church in Copperhill, TN. Richard was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, and inductee of the Fannin County Sports Hall of Fame, and belonged to the Young Farmers of Fannin County, the Epworth Community Club, and the Copperhill Steppers Line Dance Group. He attended Saint Bernard Prep School & College and the University of Georgia.
Funeral Service: Friday December 15, 2023, at 11:00 AM at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church with Father Jerry Daniels officiating. 
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Gabriel Partin, Jeffrey Partin, Chris Jabaley, Tim Jabaley, Joseph Partin, and Anthony Jabaley. 
Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery in Copperhill, TN. 
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the Divine Mercy Society at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, Copperhill, TN.
The family will receive friends at Finch-Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, 14th of December 2023, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service from 5:00 pm until 5:30 pm.
