Robert "Bob" Sisson

January 2, 1957 — October 14, 2025

Robert "Bob" Lee Sisson, age 68, passed away on October 14, 2025 at his home. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Guinna Sisson and his beloved spouse in life, Terri Sisson. He is survived by his daughters, Courtney and Scott Graham and Dixie and Josh Underwood; and son, Colby Sisson; sisters, Donna Sisson Holweger and Cheryl Powell, grandchildren, Brody Graham, Sawyer Graham, Novalee Underwood and Isabella Underwood.

Bob was born in Copperhill, TN on January 2, 1957. He grew up in the Epworth, Georgia community and was involved in the local scouting Troop 32 where he attained the rank of Eagle Scout. For many years thereafter, he was involved with young boys and men in scouting. He helped in all aspects of the local troop. He was known as a very giving man always seeking to help others in anyway he could. He was a unique man of humor in his words, songs, actions, and even photos. Bob enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He enjoyed mowing and being out in God's great creation of nature. As a carpenter, he built many things of art and beauty. If you knew Bob, he was "a meat and potatoes kind of guy." He enjoyed the beauty of the North Georgia Mountains. One thing above all else was his faith in God and love for his family; especially his children and grandchildren. Not only was he dad to his children but was considered to be a dad to many others as well.

A private graveside service will be conducted with the interment in the First Baptist Church of Epworth, Georgia cemetery.
