Roberta Waynick Baker
March 31, 1929 — March 28, 2024
Roberta was known for her kind and generous spirit, always putting others before herself. She had a deep love for helping people and a strong sense of patriotism towards the values that she believed made our nation great.
In her free time, Roberta found joy in her faith and church family. She enjoyed spending time at church and sharing her beliefs with others by giving out tracts about faith in Christ.
She is survived by siblings Dorothy Underwood and Wynonna Nelson; nephew Aaron Underwood; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Stella Stockton; her first husband Harvey Waynick; second husband Bufford Baker; and siblings Ruth Gibson, Anita Stockton, Loretta Stockton, and Monroe Stockton.
The family will receive friends at Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee, GA on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024 from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024, at 7:00 pm at Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee, GA with Aaron Underwood officiating.
Roberta will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving family and friends who will carry on her legacy of kindness and service to others. May she rest in peace knowing that she made a positive impact on the lives of those around her.
