Ronnie Ausbon Boykin passed away peacefully on June 3, 2024 at his home in Murphy, NC.
Ronnie was born April 4, 1953 in Clermont, Florida. He was the youngest son of Myrtie (Laminack) and Marvin Boykin. Ronnie graduated from Clermont high School in 1971.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Myrtie Boykin and his brother, Marvin Kenneth “Kenny” Boykin.
Ronnie is survived by daughters Rana A. Boykin and Dana M. Crum and sons Tyler R. Sapp, Shane A. Boykin, Daniel R. Boykin; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Ronnie was born and raised in Clermont, Florida and moved to Fort Pierce, Florida in 1990. He loved fishing and vacations with his family. His favorite destination was anywhere in the Smoky Mountains. He worked his entire career in the Florida Citrus Industry. In 2018 he moved to Murphy, NC where he spent his final years in the mountains he loved.
Services will be held in Clermont, Florida with the date and details to be announced by the family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ronnie’s name to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital which was an organization whose mission Ronnie adored.Guestbook
