Roy Neal

Roy Neal, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the age of 89. He was born February 23, 1935 to the late June and Laura Neal. Beloved husband of the late Peggy Ann. Dearest father of Rita (Herb) Nichols, Roy Allen (Judi) Neal, and Fred Neal (Dave Karpinski). Loving grandfather of Jeff (Audra) Nichols, Lora (Bob) Kane, Christopher Neal, and Elizabeth (Brandon) Godbout; great grandfather of 8 and great great grandfather of 6. Preceded in death by his 5 brothers and 1 sister. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Roy never missed an opportunity to sing and play guitar. He had a special love for Bluegrass & Gospel music.

Visitation Wednesday 2-8 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. Funeral Service at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc., 11470 Thirteen Mile Road (West of Hoover) Warren.

Additional services to be held at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, 3911 Appalachian Hwy, Blue Ridge, GA 30513 Monday, October 14, 2024, at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow in Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Cherry Log, Georgia.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 14, 2024, at the Cochran McDaniel Funeral Home of Blue Ridge from 10:00 am - 1:30 pm.
