Scottie Wershing November 14, 1929 - June 19, 2014
Roy (Scottie) Wershing of Murphy, North Carolina, passed away in the Murphy Medical Center on Thursday, June 19 2014. Scottie is survived by his wife Dottie, Children, Grand Children and Great-Grand Children. Born in N. Olmstead, OH to Roy and Evelyn Wershing, he and his wife moved to North Carolina from Hinckley, OH in 1982. Scottie was very well known in the community and always wanted to contribute to the improvement of society. He loved a challenge and was a real Innovator and a Master of all Trades. He was a True Craftsman. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held at Murphy United Methodist Church on Friday, June 27th starting at 7pm.
