Sandra June Clark

Sandra "Mimi" Clark, age 77, of Hiawassee, Georgia, entered into rest on Sunday, June 28th, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Sandra was born on December 30, 1948 to the late Henry and Fadie Samuel. Sandra was a talented homemaker and was devoted to her husband and family. She was strong and resilient.

Sandra's grandchildren called her Mimi, a moniker that soon became the name by which everyone knew her. She truly lived her life for her family. She enjoyed interior design and creating beautiful floral pieces. She liked to make things pretty. She was a collector of Asian antiques and artwork. Sandra loved fiercely. She never met a stray animal that she did not adore. This love extended beyond her beloved family to strangers, who did not stay strangers for long. Everyone that met her fell under her charm. She loved music of all kinds had a beautiful singing voice. One of her favorite pastimes was to take trips with her husband, Joe. She enjoyed hiking and spending time in nature.

Sandra was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John J. Clark; son, Shane Clark; sister, Joanne Jordan; and parents, Henry and Fadie Samuels.

She is survived by her sons, John Clark and Eric Clark; grandchildren, Nicole, Christopher, Michael, Brianna, Colton, Minh Chau, Quoc, Kaleigh, Eli, Gage, and Fiona; great-grandchildren, Ryder, Reiny, Clark, Benjamin, Alba, Penelope, Jonathon, and Eden; and honorary daughter, JoJo. A large extended family and many friends also survive.

A visitation will be held on July 3, 2026 at Bell Scene Baptist Church in Hiawassee, Georgia, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Kevin Moss officiating,

Sandra will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, Mimi, and friend.
