Sgt. Donald Rocky Edgerton, age 33 of Ft. Drum, NY, passed away in Afganistan. Mr. Edgerton was born in Mobile, AL to Donald Edgerton and Patsy Champion Edgerton. A member of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include: wife, Deana Edgerton, daughter Jordyn Edgerton, of Ft. Drum, N.Y., father and mother, Donald & Patsy Edgerton of Murphy, N.C.,two brothers Kyle Edgerton & Patrick Edgerton, grandmother, Charlotte Champion, & one neice Cali Edgerton all of Murphy, N.C.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, July 23, 2010 at St. William Catholic Church. Family will recieve friends 6-8 pm, Thursday, July 22, 2010 at the funeral home.
Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy, NC in charge of arrangements. You may send condolences to the family and sign the guest register at www.cochranfuneralhomes.com.
