Stephen Herdis Arp

Stephen Herdis Arp, age 73, of Murphy, NC, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025. Stephen was born July 2, 1952, in Turtletown, TN to Herdis and Lavanch Arp. 

Stephen was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Arp; father, Herdis Arp; mother, Lavanch Arp; and sisters, Sandra Davis and Shirley (Nick) Payne. Stephen was loved by all his family.

He is survived by his son, Matthew (Megan) Arp; sister, Donna (Jerry) Jones; brother, Larry (Vickie) Arp; sister, Donna (Jerry) Jones; brother, Denny Arp; sister Carolyn (Keith) Allison; brother Phillip Arp; grandchildren, Cody Akins and Paige Akins; and great-grandchild, Corbin Akins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
