Terry Weldon Atkins

Terry Weldon Atkins, 70, a beloved father, grandfather, son, and brother, passed away on August 13, 2026. Born on September 5, 1955, in Roswell, New Mexico, Terry lived a full life that was packed with adventure and love. He was a proud member of the Dooly Masonic Lodge 367 and had a passion for cruising on his Harley, exploring the open road wherever it led him.

Family and friends knew Terry as a storyteller who could light up a room with his tales. He loved good music, movies, and the thrill of martial arts and karate. Cooking for the people he loved was one of his favorite ways to show he cared.

Terry is survived by his daughters, Tiffany Atkins and Brooke Atkins; son-in-law, James Shubert, along with his parents, Harold and Elizabeth Atkins, siblings-David Atkins, Joey Atkins, and Jeannie Anderson; brother-in-law Ricky Anderson-and his cherished grandchildren, Cameron Ringenberg, Zeke Ringenberg, and AJ Shubert. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends who will miss him dearly.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 4:00pm at Cochran McDaniel Funeral Home & Crematory Blairsville Chapel.
