Thomas Paul Davis,70, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026. He was born on February 12, 1956, in Germany to his late parents, Paul Duncan Davis and Brigitte (Krakowski) Davis.
As a young boy, Thomas moved with his family from Germany to Safety Harbor, Florida. He quickly learned English and went on to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, reflecting his determination and love of the outdoors.
Thomas later became a competitive roller skater, a passion that brought him many lifelong friendships. He went on to enjoy a successful career with the Pinellas County School System, where he met Catherine "Cathy," the love of his life. They were married for 44 years and shared a lifetime of love, friendship, and cherished memories.
Following their retirement, Thomas and Cathy moved to their mountain home in Blairsville, Georgia. There, they enjoyed the beauty of the mountains, caring for their beloved cats, participating in patriotic parades in their uniquely decorated truck known as "The Beast," and spending time with longtime friends-many of whom had also relocated from Florida.
Thomas was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cathy. He is survived by his stepson, Christopher Stull and his wife Teresa; step-grandchildren, Veronica and Christian; his cherished cats; and many dear friends.
Thomas and Cathy's ashes will be scattered together, ensuring they remain united in the mountains they came to love.
