Tony Lynn Griggs, age 52, of Farner, TN, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, GA. Mr. Griggs was born March 13, 1969, in Copperhill, TN, to James Anthony Griggs and Penny Surface Griggs Lohr. Tony enjoyed woodworking with cedar logs and taking care of his cats. He especially loved being outdoors where he often spent his quiet time.
Survivors include his mother, Penny Lohr, father, James Anthony Griggs, daughter, Ashley Brower, sisters, Teresa Rice and Rebecca Griggs, brother, James Griggs, nephews, Robert Mathis and Dustin North and nieces, Olivia Griggs and Jenna Webb.
The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Sunday, October 31, 2021, from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
