Vena "pat" Nichols

Mrs. Vena Estelle "Pat" Nichols, age 87 of Blairsville, GA, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Union County Nursing Home.
Mrs. Nichols was born Monday, November 24, 1919 in White County, Georgia to the late Luther Gerdene Satterfield and the late Amanda Elizabeth Cain Satterfield. She was a member of Yahoola Baptist Church in Dahlonega, GA. She was a giving person and supported the Native American Orphanages, Boys Town and Jews for Jesus. She was a Riveter at Bell Bomber Aircraft during WWII.. She was preceded in death by husband, James Howard Nichols, brother, Ralph Satterfield and sister, Ada Bruner.
Survivors include: daughter & son-in-law, Jean and Tommy Rogers, daughter, Micah Nichols, son & daughter-in-law, Tim and Julia Nichols, daughter, Jamie Burbage, daughter, Jackie Nichols of all of Blairsville, GA, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 12, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. from the Yahoola Baptist Church Cemetery in Dahlonega, with Rev. Lymon Colwell officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to the chairty of your choice.
The Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
