Ann Ledford

Violet "Ann" Ledford, 76, of Hayesville, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023. Ann was born November 13, 1947, to Robert and Ethel Mills Crisp.

Ann was preceded in death by father, Robert Crisp; mother, Ethel Mills Crisp; sisters, Jewell Buchanan, Betty Carpenter, Hazel Lance, and Shirley Crisp; brothers, Bobby Crisp, Bud Crisp, and Roy Crisp.

Ann is survived by her daughter Stephanie and Shanan Britt; grandson Dalson Stanley; nieces Shirley Sherlin, Susan Worley, Sandy Curtis, Dana Raxter, Cindy Denton, Lisa Blackwell, Janet Dockery, Debbie Grooms and Kasey Queen; nephews Danny Lance, Randy Carpenter, Mike Carpenter, Corey Mullinax, Nathan Buchanan, Junior Buchanan, and Robbie Crisp.

Ann was a big crafter and loved to do crossword puzzles. She was an avid fan and supporter of her grandson Dalson and the entire Hayesville Yellow Jacket Football team.

Funeral Service, on Friday November 24, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Cochran Funeral Homes of Murphy with Rev. Billy Franklin officiating. The family will receive friends at Cochran Funeral Homes of Murphy, Friday, November, 24th 12:00 PM until the funeral hour.  Interment will follow in the Fires Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Dalson Stanley, Ben Stanley, Daniel Sherlin, Kasey Owens, Dylan Curtis, Jamie Worley. The following gentlemen will serve as honorary pallbearers Herbie Sherlin, Brian Curtis, Danny Lance, Josh Collins.
