Violet Tischer

Violet Correne Tischer, age 94, of Orlando, FL, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, at Advent Health Hospice Care in Altamonte Springs, FL. Violet was born December 2, 1929, in Orlando, FL. 

Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Burton H. Tischer, Sr; Sister, Dorothy (David) Bowman; and brother, Millard (Cha Cha) Wilson.

She is survived by her daughter Cindi (Joe) Steffens; son, Burton (Peggie) Tischer Jr; and son, Phillip Tischer; Grandchildren, Christine Steffens, Jason Steffens, Matt Tischer, Mike Tischer, Jeremy Tischer, Clay Tischer, and Erin Tischer; and, two great-grandchildren, Ben and Jonas.

Violet loved the Georgia mountains.  She and her husband Burton retired to Blairsville in 2006,

Graveside Service, on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Union Memory Gardens in Blairsville Georgia.  Violet will be interred next to her husband, Burton H Tischer, Sr. at Union Memory Gardens in Blairsville, GA.

The family will receive friends at Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville on Saturday, 9th of March, 2024 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
