W.e. "junior" Hancock

Mr. W. E. Hancock, better known as "Junior" age 82, of Mineral Bluff, GA, passed away Monday, June 21, 2010 at the Fannin Regional Hospital. Junior was born June 30, 1927 in Cherokee, NC to the late Wilburn E. Hancock, Sr. and the late Edith Ledford Hancock. He served in the U. S.Army , was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, and retired from Tennessee Chemical Company. Junior was preceded in death by his wife, Dollie Mae Ballew Hancock.

Survivors include: daughter , Betty Queen; son & daughter-in-law, Ronald & Janet Hancock; grandchildren, Melissa & Michael Martin; grandchildren, Jenna & Clark Stepp; great grandchildren, Maegan & Michael J. Martin; brother, Freddy Hancock; sister, Nola Bell; sister, Lura Walker; sister, Willa Mae Ballew; and sister, Rosie Mae Harris.

Funeral services: Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 2:00 pm the from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Cheatham officiating.

Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, June 23, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.and again from 8:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.at the funeral home.
